Copyright and takedown requests
How to report content on Clipadi that uses your work without permission, and what we do when you tell us.
Last updated 13 October 2026 · Operated by Mammar Digital Solutions LLP
1. What Clipadi allows
Creators may only run campaigns for videos they own or have the right to offer for clipping. Clippers may only post clips of the video a campaign names, on their own accounts. Both agree to this in our creator terms and clipper terms. Clipadi does not host the videos or the clips: they stay on YouTube and Instagram. What we can do is remove a campaign or a clip from Clipadi and stop it earning.
2. How to report an infringement
Email hello@clipadi.com with the subject “Copyright takedown request” and include:
- Who you are: your full name, and the company or person you act for, with an email address and phone number where we can reach you.
- The work: what the original work is and where it can be seen (for example a link to your video or channel).
- Where it is on Clipadi: the link to the campaign or clip on clipadi.com, or the link to the clip on Instagram or YouTube together with the name of the Clipadi campaign.
- A statement of good faith: that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement of accuracy and authority: that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner of the right or are authorised to act for the owner.
- Your signature: typing your full name at the end of the email is enough.
If you use the Clipadi mobile app, you can also report a campaign from inside the app (choose “Copyright: not theirs to offer or post”). For a formal request, please still send the email above so we have the details we need.
3. What we do
- We acknowledge a complete notice within 24 hours and act on it promptly, normally within 2 working days.
- Where the notice is valid, we block the campaign or reject the clip on Clipadi so that it is no longer shown and no longer earns, and we tell the creator or clipper concerned and pass on the substance of the complaint.
- Money a campaign has not yet paid out is not paid on a clip or campaign that has been removed for infringement.
- We cannot take a video down from Instagram or YouTube. For that, use their own copyright forms as well.
4. If your content was removed by mistake
If you are the creator or clipper and believe a removal was a mistake, or that you have the right to use the work, reply to our message or email hello@clipadi.com with your reasons and any proof of your right (for example a licence or the original upload). We review it and may restore the content; we may share your reply with the person who complained.
5. Repeat infringers
We suspend or close the accounts of creators and clippers who infringe repeatedly, and may withhold unpaid earnings connected with infringing content, as our terms allow.
6. Misuse of this process
Please only send a notice if you own the right or act for the owner. Knowingly false notices can make you liable for the harm they cause.
